If so, we invite you to apply for a 1-year maternity cover position in our Microbiological Environmental Monitoring team.
Your new role
As our new Advanced QC Professional colleague, you will play a crucial role in securing compliance and minimizing equipment downtime. Our equipment consists primarily of MicroSEQ, Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization-Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF), incubators, microscopes, pH-meter, balances, pipettes, refrigerators, freezers, temperature monitoring system (FMS), and other computerised systems, etc. Your primary tasks will include:
- Providing equipment support to analytical teams, ensuring they can conduct the analyses necessary to release our finished products on time
- Approving required documentation for both planned and unplanned maintenance of analytical equipment including MicroSEQ, MALDI-TOF, incubators, microscopes, and other computerized systems
- Setting and maintaining calibration requirements, change requests, and qualification approvals
- Performing qualification activities (URS, IQ, OQ and PQ) when implementing new equipment
- Contributing to ongoing optimization of existing processes by staying curious about how other teams and departments operate, both inside and outside of Novo Nordisk
- Handling deviations in accordance with GMP requirements
We are on a journey of digitalizing our QC laboratories by introducing automated processes and connecting laboratory equipment to Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support a paperless future. You will have the opportunity to contribute to this journey by being observant about new, innovative solutions and secure successful implementation.
Your new department
Quality Control Environmental Monitoring is part of Manufacturing Development. The department is located in Gentofte and Bagsværd and includes 46 employees divided into three teams. We have overall responsibility for the microbiological analysis of products and water samples coming from production. Our daily operations involve close dialogue with stakeholders in other QC laboratories, IT departments, Quality Assurance and vendors. We're on an exciting journey of digitalizing our QC laboratories and connecting equipment to support a paperless future.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a self-motivated professional who thrives on taking initiative and responsibility. You'll bring with you:
- A master’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharma or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience from a QC function in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industries
- Knowledge about the criteria for maintaining analytical equipment and GMP equipment qualification
- A systematic approach to problem solving with flair for processing data and complying with deadlines
- The ability to comply with deadlines, a systematic approach to problem solving and flair for processing data
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability to establish relationships and collaborate effectively
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Experience in setting and maintaining calibration criteria while working with metrology is advantageous, as well as change request and technical writing experience
