This is a maternity leave position for 12 months. 

 

The Position 
As an Advanced Health & Safety Professional at site Bagsværd, you will play an important role in promoting a safe and compliant work environment. You will assist in implementing HS processes across AM BA as part of the EHS department where you will work in collaboration with your HS colleagues. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Providing support and guidance on HS matters within production and projects and assisting HS Representatives and HS leaders in driving HS processes.
•    Ensuring compliance with Danish Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and standards (e.g. ISO45001). 
•    Update risk assessment on chemicals and secure a systematic and sustainable solution on chemical risk assessment. 
•    Participating in safety inspections, performance board meetings, and planning board meetings.
•    Collaborating with and support People Managers, HS Representatives, Work Wise Trainers, and other subject matter experts within fields as workplace assessments, emergency response, fire safety, ergonomic, and chemistry.


Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
•    A Bachelor’s degree or higher and experience working professionally within Health and Safety. Knowledge from pharma will be an advantage.
•    At least 2 years of experience working within the Health and Safety area and experience working with the behaviour, mindset and safety culture.
•    Solid understanding of the Danish Health and Safety Legislation and/or ISO45001.
•    Fluency in Danish written and spoken.

About the Department 
The EHS (environment, health and safety) department is a newly established department from September 2024. It consists of 10 dedicated specialists within the areas of environment, waste, energy, health and safety.  We represent many different educations and backgrounds which has created a unique, diverse and open-minded team.

 

EHS focus on directing and executing our strategy within Health & Safety and Circular for Zero strategyes. We adhere to a Triple Bottom Line strategy, ensuring a focus on environmental and social responsibility as well as economic accountability. The primary HS priority for AM BA is to maintain compliance with our management system and cultivate a healthy and engaging work environment.

 

At Novo Nordisk’s production site in Bagsværd we produce marketed products and products for clinical trials. Our aseptic production is an important part of providing quality products to patients globally. We are on an ambitious technological journey to future-proof the production facility. EHS is a vital part of this journey and advise both projects and production in EHS related topics.
