The position 

As Acquisition Program Manager you will be responsible for integrating acquisitioned companies into supply chain processes in Sourcing Operations.

Some of your key responsibilities include to:

  • Oversee integration of acquired companies, defining strategies and ensuring supplier integration and material release
  • Coordinate and facilitate necessary projects, evaluate governance, and maintain communication with stakeholders and management
  • Drive change management processes and manage consultants as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and representing the company in relevant forums
  • Identify potential quality and compliance risks, determining mitigations, and ensuring clear prioritization and communication to project managers

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you to have:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, supply chain, engineering, project management or any other relevant field 
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience linked with supply chain (such as large-scale integration project, new acquisition project, or introducing new materials into a supply chain)
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

It would be considered as a plus if you have already worked in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.

As a person, you possess strong communication and collaboration skills. You are structured with highly analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. You are motivated and work well under pressure. You respect the opinion of others; yet can drive a decision through the team. Your time-management skills are excellent. You are able to decisively prioritize, and make real-time decisions as well as following-up and following through. Last but not least, you think strategically and anticipate changes that could affect projects.

 

About the department
You will be part of the Strategy and Business Development department, which is responsible for driving the strategic development and distribution of Sourcing Operations (SoOp) that has the overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain in Novo Nordisk and consists of 400 dedicated employees.
