CEO office, Corporate Strategy & Sustainability

Bagsværd, Denmark

Are you motivated by making a difference through business impact while being part of a team of ambitious talents with diverse backgrounds? Then look no further – we are looking for Project Associates and Senior Project Associates (similar to Junior Consultants and Associate Consultants at external consultancies) who can solve complex problems across Novo Nordisk’s value chain and deliver impact to patients.

Your new role

From day one, you will work as an integrated part of project teams of 2-5 consultants that work directly on-site with clients to solve some of their most difficult problems. Your experienced colleagues will help you learn the consultant’s toolbox and ensure your continuous development, by rapid feedback cycles and interactive trainings similar to working in an external consultancy.

Our team is working on exciting and diverse strategy projects ranging from evaluating new therapeutic areas, developing digital solutions for patients, advancing our sustainability ambition to assessing potential acquisition targets. You will be exposed to different organisational units throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark and globally, building a strong international network and developing your methodical and personal skills, guided by our project tools and methodologies. Further, we expect you to take an active role in the continuous development of the department.

On projects, you will be responsible for:

  • Formulating and testing hypotheses
  • Developing recommendations
  • Communicating recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Working directly on-site with clients
  • Contributing to the continuous development of the department

Your new department

Novo Nordisk Consulting is Novo Nordisk’s in-house management consultancy reporting directly to Executive Management. We focus on combining best practices from top-tier strategy consultancies with the strengths of being an internal consultancy to drive a broad range of high-profile projects across the value chain and geographies.

Our projects provide exposure to Senior Management for all team members and the unit is recognised as a key talent incubator in Novo Nordisk with a strong track record for exporting talents to management positions across the organisation. We develop our talents by continuously investing in both personal and professional development and strive to offer a similar steep learning curve as in top-tier consultancies. You will join a young, dynamic team of +25 employees with diverse backgrounds.

Your skills and qualifications

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master’s Degree in economics, business administration, engineering, science, medical, or the like with excellent results
  • 0-4 years of full-time work experience (professional experience and interview performance will determine whether we hire you as a Project Associate or Senior Project Associate)
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to drive change at all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly (both verbally and in writing)
  • Proven to be ambitious, challenge-seeking and result-oriented

Experience (part/full time) from a management consultancy or a pharmaceutical company is highly regarded but not a prerequisite for this position.
