Your new role
As Alternative Channel Lead, you will drive business growth within aesthetic clinics, beauty clinics, cosmetics, and other alternative channel accounts across the Iraq market. You will combine a sharp commercial and marketing mindset with the ability to engage credibly with medical and clinical stakeholders – building and executing channel strategies that expand our presence and partnerships in obesity management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing channel strategies tailored to aesthetic clinics, beauty clinics, cosmetics, and other alternative channel accounts.
  • Identifying, onboarding, and managing key accounts and partners within the alternative channel in Iraq.
  • Building strong, credible relationships with clinic owners, practitioners, and decision-makers to maximise business opportunities.
  • Designing and executing marketing initiatives and campaigns tailored to the aesthetic and cosmetic wellness audience.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and medical teams to deliver tailored solutions and campaigns.
  • Tracking and reporting on channel performance, while ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • This role involves high mobility across the Iraq market.

Within our Iraq affiliate, you will join the Business Development & Strategy department – a commercially driven team focused on opening new pathways to reach people living with obesity. Here, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Novo Nordisk engages with non-traditional channels, working alongside marketing, sales, and medical colleagues to bring innovative partnerships to life.

 

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially minded professional who can navigate both clinical and consumer environments with credibility. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree, with a medical background required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in channel management, sales, business development, or marketing – preferably within the aesthetics, cosmetics, or wellness industry.
  • An FMCG mindset – commercially driven, fast-paced, and results-focused – with a strong understanding of the aesthetic clinic and cosmetic wellness market landscape in Iraq.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, combined with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
  • A results-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
