The role will be reporting to the General Manager of New Zealand.
The position
As the Commercial Operational Lead, you will be developing and executing commercial plans with defined timelines and deliverables while managing critical path activities and identifying dependencies. You will establish readiness criteria, conduct regular assessments for operational preparedness, implement risk management strategies, and coordinate logistics, including inventory management, distribution planning, and supply chain readiness to ensure successful commercial initiatives.

- Act as the central contact across departments, facilitating cross-functional meetings to align on commercial goals, managing communication flow to enhance information sharing, coordinating handoffs at key milestones, and resolving conflicts to maintain momentum.
- Develop and maintain project management tools to track progress, manage resource allocation across teams, ensure accountability for deliverables, provide status updates to leadership, and implement tailored project management methodologies for pharmaceutical commercialization.
- Ensure compliance of all commercial activities with NZ regulations and industry standards, coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality Assurance on project requirements, and facilitate timely responses to stakeholder queries impacting commercial timelines.
Qualification
- Degree qualifications in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial operations or project management, with strong understanding of health care systems and processes.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects within budget and time constraints, with exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills, and must have the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Must either be a New Zealand Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in New Zealand.
