The position

As a Strategic Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of our strategic planning and execution, ensuring that our site’s long-term goals align with the broader company vision. Your key responsibilities will include:
•    Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and refine Athlone Site’s strategic plan, setting long-term goals and objectives.
•    Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to ensure resilience in our strategic initiatives.
•    Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Analysing the performance of existing strategies, identifying areas for enhancement, and recommending necessary adjustments.
•    Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Driving strategic projects and initiatives across departments and ensuring alignment within the ET & DDP strategic network.
•    Strategic Guidance & Advisory: Providing expert advice to site leadership and key decision-makers to support well-informed and forward-thinking business choices.

Qualifications
•    Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
•    At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in strategy development and/or deployment, ideally working as a strategic business partner in a Management Consultancy role.
•    Excellent ability to manage and coordinate projects effectively.
•    Strong ability to establish and maintain networks, fostering cross-organizational knowledge sharing.
•    Proven experience in management roles, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities.
•    Strong ability to assess complex problems, develop solutions, and negotiate effectively.
•    Ability to communicate effectively with both subordinates and senior management.
