As Senior Project Coordinator, you will keep a complex site expansion programme connected and moving. This maternity leave cover role places you at the centre of a major site expansion programme, coordinating stakeholders, communications and key activities across the Athlone Expansions team. You will bring structure and coordination to a fast-paced environment, help-ing project teams stay aligned and key activities on track.


What you'll bring

  • Experience in project coordination, internal communications or administrative support, ideally in a fast-paced or complex environment.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple dead-lines, logistics and stakeholders with accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear updates, meeting materials and stakeholder communications.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders, colleagues across a site, external partners and community stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and adapt quickly when priorities change.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.


Useful, but not essential:

Experience in a project, construction, engineering, pharmaceutical or other regulated environ-ment.


What you'll do

You will support the Head of Athlone Expansions and the wider team by coordinating infor-mation, communications and activities across a complex portfolio of expansion projects. Your focus will be on keeping priorities aligned, supporting effective collaboration and ensuring key activities progress smoothly across the programme.

  • Act as a communications partner for the Athlone Expansions team, supporting clear, timely and consistent communication across the project portfolio.
  • Develop and coordinate communications relating to construction logistics, project lifecy-cle milestones, departmental communications, announcements, site visits, content crea-tion and community engagement.
  • Develop communication and stakeholder plans for the Site Master Plan, planning applica-tions and other activities that support its delivery.
  • Working closely with the Site Communications Partner and relevant site functions to co-ordinate departmental updates and support wider site communications where required e.g. town halls, key site visits, newsletters, videos, etc
  • Supporting engagement with community stakeholders, industry neighbours, govern-ment agencies, regulators, contractors and other external partners.
  • Providing high-quality administrative support to the Head of Athlone Expansions, includ-ing calendar management, travel arrangements and monthly expense administration.
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, external site visits and site logistics, including agen-das, catering, rooms, visitor security updates and bookings.
  • Capturing minutes, decisions and actions, raising purchase orders and following up on activities so the team can operate effectively.

 

Who you'll work with

You will join the Athlone Expansions team within Global Manufacturing & Supply, working closely with the Head of Athlone Expansions, project teams across the site and a broad network of external partners including regulators, government agencies, contractors and community representatives. The role offers exposure to a diverse stakeholder landscape and requires strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Salary

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 51,520.00 to 82,430.00 EUR, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the 
candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
