The position

As our Head of Project Engineering, you will lead the charge in delivering exceptional local capital investment projects. You'll play a pivotal role in managing our project portfolio, ensuring projects meet stringent quality, budget, and timeline standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the site project team in delivering local capital investment projects to high standards of excellence
• Manage the site projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
• Develop and manage the site projects budget, optimizing resource allocation for sustainable solutions
• Implement and continuously improve project management systems, processes, and governance models
• Drive stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, promoting collaborative success and professional development within the team

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
• Project Management qualifications and/or experience
• 5 years of experience in people leadership; head of function desired
• In depth knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Good technical understanding/competency
