The position
As our Head of Project Engineering, you will lead the charge in delivering exceptional local capital investment projects. You'll play a pivotal role in managing our project portfolio, ensuring projects meet stringent quality, budget, and timeline standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the site project team in delivering local capital investment projects to high standards of excellence
- Manage the site projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
- Develop and manage the site projects budget, optimizing resource allocation for sustainable solutions
- Implement and continuously improve project management systems, processes, and governance models
- Drive stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, promoting collaborative success and professional development within the team
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- Project Management qualifications and/or experience
- 5 years of experience in people leadership; head of function desired
- In depth knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Good technical understanding/competency
