Your new role

 

As Patient Engagement Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing strategies that connect people living with obesity with the care and support they need. This role sits at the intersection of patient advocacy, digital innovation and commercial strategy – where your work directly influences how patients experience their journey with Novo Nordisk.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing patient engagement strategies that support people living with obesity while aligning with commercial goals and driving meaningful impact across the patient journey
  • Leading the implementation of innovative consumer engagement activities and support programs, creating an ecosystem of touchpoints optimized across digital channels including search, web, social media and AI applications
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders, particularly healthcare professionals, to increase diagnosis and improve management of obesity
  • Analyzing patient needs and market trends through surveys and research to identify opportunities for enhanced patient experiences and satisfaction
  • Monitoring and evaluating engagement effectiveness with a data-driven mindset, using insights to refine approaches and boost campaign impact
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across marketing, medical affairs, public affairs, commercial excellence and beyond to ensure a holistic omnichannel approach
  • Ensuring all activities comply with business ethics procedures, local law and Novo Nordisk policies and guidelines

 

Your new department

 

Within International Operations, you will be joining Marketing  Metabolic Diseases – a team dedicated to transforming how we support people living with conditions like obesity and diabetes. In our marketing department, we focus on shaping our commercial approach, collaborating cross-functionally and supporting business development across obesity and diabetes. We serve as a link and guide for the Novo Nordisk portfolio, ensuring we stay competitive in the market. Our goal is to unlock the full potential of our products, by implementing effective marketing strategies and making successful product launches.
Here, patient-centricity isn't just a buzzword; it's the foundation of everything we do. You will work alongside passionate professionals who understand that behind every data point is a person seeking better health outcomes.

 

Your skills & qualifications

 

We are looking for a Patient Engagement Manager who thrives at the intersection of patient advocacy and commercial strategy. You will bring with you:

 

  • Experience in commercial experience or life sciences background with proven expertise in patient activation, adherence programs and deep understanding of the patient journey
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Life Sciences or related field (Master's degree considered an asset)
  • Demonstrated experience in innovative omnichannel engagement strategies and alliance management or external commercial partnerships
  • Strong analytical capabilities – you can interpret data from multiple sources and transform it into actionable insights
  • Project management experience with the ability to navigate change management when implementing patient solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strategic vision and creative problem-solving abilities
  • A team player mindset with adaptability and commitment to continuous learning (FMCG experience considered an asset)
