The Position

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will part of the team executing clinical trial activities for in the conduct of clinical trials and non-interventional studies. Your main responsibilities will be to execute clinical trial protocols according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, federal regulations, and SOPs. You will be responsible for the conduct of activities starting from the receipt of the CTA package to the CTR submission according to local and international regulations.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • site selection
  • site initiation
  • monitoring activities on sites participating in Phase I-IV clinical protocols
  • negotiating budgets while representing the affiliate in local and global meetings.

 

Qualifications

You should have an educational background preferably within the Health Sciences (biology, pharmacy etc). Additional post graduate training and degrees will be considered as an asset.

On top of what we would expect:

  • solid work experience of two years in the same or similar positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including CROs
  • proactive and team player mindset
  • analytical mindset with a structured approach to solving tasks
  • proficiency in Greek and English
  • residency within the Athens area.

Preferably, you can work independently and have a good understanding of project management, as well as the ability and willingness to adjust quickly to new situations in a continuously developing environment with a service minded attitude.
It is expected that you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The job also requires proficiency in Greek and English, good communication skills, and cross-cultural understanding.

 

About the Department

You will be part of a highly motivated Clinical Operations team responsible for the planning, execution and completion of projects related to the development of new medicinal products in the areas of diabetes, obesity, and haemophilia. 

The Clinical Operations Department is a team of more than 40 highly skilled and ambitious colleagues responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trial activities in accordance with the Product Development Plans of Novo Nordisk A/S. 
The scope of our activities is from phase I to IV clinical trials and non-interventional studies in collaboration with our Headquarters and local stakeholders. Our environment is characterised by a global network with challenging assignments in a project centric organisation. We focus on continuous personal and professional development and exciting opportunities which arise within or international organization.
