Your new role
As Associate Director, Business Development, you will identify opportunities that support Novo Nordisk's commercial priorities, and lead partnership discussions from opportunity assessment through negotiation, and execution of strategic partnerships that support Novo Nordisk's growth ambitions in Greece. Working across our obesity portfolios, you will translate commercial priorities into innovative partnership models that improve patient access, strengthen healthcare pathways, and create long-term value for patients, partners, and Novo Nordisk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise business development opportunities that support affiliate growth objectives.
- Develop and negotiate strategic partnerships with digital and classic commercial partnerships: healthcare providers, digital health companies, pharmacies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Build compelling value propositions, financial models, and business cases to support investment decisions and partnership approvals.
- Lead partnership opportunities from initial assessment through negotiation, governance, and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, medical, market access, finance, and legal colleagues to ensure successful execution and alignment with affiliate priorities.
- Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and emerging business models to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Your new department
You will join a dynamic and collaborative affiliate team focused on driving impact in the Greek healthcare system. The Business Development function plays a critical role in identifying innovative ways to expand patient access and strengthen Novo Nordisk’s position through partnerships.
Working cross-functionally with colleagues across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and Compliance & Legal, you will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution. The department thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared ambition to deliver long-term value for patients while navigating an evolving healthcare landscape.
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong blend of commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and partnership expertise. We expect you to have:
- At 7 years of work experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercial strategy, or a related commercial role, ideally from the healthcare, pharmaceutical, digital health, or consumer healthcare landscape.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of identifying growth opportunities and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Bring solid commercial and financial acumen, including experience developing business cases and evaluating investment opportunities.
- Have experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of an organisation.
- Possess excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Be fluent in Greek and English.

- Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 87,930.00 y 149,480.00 EUR, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. - Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
