Your new role
As Medical & Regulatory Associate Director, you'll lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of our Medical and Regulatory function in Greece and Cyprus. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape how we bring life-changing treatments to patients while building strong partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.
Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
- Driving operational excellence in medical, regulatory and safety operations in full compliance with corporate and legal requirements to support new business opportunities and strategic priorities
- Leading the planning and implementation of local medical strategy as an integral part of our portfolio and brand strategies, with a primary focus on obesity and diabetes
- Leading, inspiring and developing the Medical and Regulatory team to maximize their full potential and ensure field medical excellence
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including KOLs, medical societies, key institutions in the healthcare sector and patient organizations to position Novo Nordisk as a strategic partner
- Driving pre-launch planning and execution to ensure strong KOL advocacy and impactful support in reimbursement processes
- Enhancing market shaping capabilities through strategic medical engagement and influence
- Serving as a member of the Greek Leadership Team and Crisis Response Team, providing strategic insight and driving cross-functional collaboration

In Greece and Cyprus, you'll be part of a dynamic affiliate at the forefront of transformational change. As we expand our portfolio and deepen our impact in obesity and diabetes, your leadership will be critical to establishing the Medical & Regulatory department as a key driver of sustainable business performance and strategic customer engagement.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a strategic medical leader who can navigate complex healthcare systems while inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals. You'll bring with you:
- Medical Degree (preferably in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or General Practice) with corporate experience
- Extensive experience in Medical & Regulatory affairs, preferably in senior management positions within the pharmaceutical industry
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven people management experience
- Deep knowledge of the Greek healthcare system including policies, ecosystem, relationships and networking, with strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strategic thinking ability with advanced business acumen and medico-marketing mindset
- Exceptional communication and influence skills with the ability to work independently and drive performance
- Leadership qualities that embrace the Novo Nordisk Way, with integrity, resilience and high energy
