Your New Role

The Regional Medical Manager (RMM) is responsible to contribute actively to build, maintain and update scientific knowledge in the therapy area. As a Regional Medical Manager, you will be planning, executing and disseminating up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data, leveraging scientific and clinical expertise with local and regional physicians. You are expected to have the understanding of scientific data for training purposes and are expected to design, help and/or coordinate educational programmes and workshops. You will be working closely with key Opinion Leaders in the area of obesity, helping improve the quality of obesity management in your region of responsibility.
Your key responsibilities will to

  • Develop regional medical advisory services for stakeholders, to increase scientific awareness and clinical usefulness profile of our products, to develop short-, medium-, and long-term local and national plans, and to collaborate cross-functionally with a customer-centred focus. 
  • Build strong scientific and peer relationships with key stakeholders and identified major institutions within the health care sector, as well as to liaise with office-based medical managers to ensure optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community.
  • Act as a scientific ambassador for Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the profile of the company remains high amongst key stakeholders through establishing a peer-to-peer relationship based on scientific rigor and integrity.
  • Provide medical training for various internal and external stakeholders.

 

The role demands spending more than 80% of the time in the field, with travelling flexibility.
 

 

Your New Department

The Clinical, Medical, Regulatory (CMR) department provides timely, accurate, and updated services to support Novo Nordisk in all therapeutic areas. The Clinical, Medical, Regulatory Department is a team of skilled and committed specialists within medical, clinical, regulatory, areas.

 

Your Skills & Qualifications

You should have a strong medical background with qualifications as having degree in Medicine, and preferably with a post-graduate medical qualification. It is expected to have excellent command of written and spoken English and Turkish. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage.   • You poss a strong scientific and have medical knowledge with a good business understanding with learning agility
  • You have an excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities and effective time management skills
  • You should be aligned with our Novo Nordisk Way and demonstrate knowledge of the health care system in Turkey and be able to link scientific data with business strategy
