We are looking for an experienced, Manufacturing leader to drive our aseptic manufacturing operations at scale. In this role, you will drive operational excellence at the highest level, protecting sterility assurance, product integrity, and GMP compliance, while delivering scale, performance, and continuous improvement.
You will also drive two critical leadership priorities: the integration within the NN network and the cultural transformation in line with NNWay expectations.
Your new role
As Sr. Director, Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing, you will provide executive oversight of our end-to-end sterile filling and packaging operations at our Anagni site. You will own the long- and short-term business strategy for the filling and packaging domain, translating site priorities into concrete outcomes: reliable delivery, operational robustness, and disciplined execution across the organization. You will also be pivotal in Integration Support and Cultural Change Leadership (NN Way)
Your responsibilities will include:
At our long-established Anagni site, you will join a best-in-class manufacturing environment focused on sterile filling where deep site expertise and proven competencies set the standard.
Your leadership will directly shape how we scale advanced sterile technologies, embed sustainable practices, and uphold the highest levels of product purity and patient safety.
You will represent the filling cluster at senior leadership level, influencing culture, process design, and business positioning, delivering measurable, high-impact outcomes
Expectations for the role:
- Protect sterile assurance by sustaining controlled manufacturing conditions to safeguard product purity, patient safety, and product integrity.
- Own long- and short-term business strategy for the filling and packaging domain, translating strategic priorities into measurable performance and sustainable results.
- Lead cross-functional execution by aligning Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to anticipate and resolve complex operational challenges with fast decision-making and clear accountability.
- Ensure full regulatory and GMP compliance by embedding compliance into daily operational.
- Drive continuous improvement at scale, leveraging structured problem-solving, data-driven learning, and innovation to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness of filling/packaging processes.
Your new department
DRUG PRODUCT MANUFACTURING IO (DPM IO) will comprise all manufacturing sites located globally world including external manufacturing. The area will supply globally but will partner with Sales Organisation in International Operations to quickly adapt to changing market demands in IO focusing on meeting customer expectations through short lead times, high responsiveness and right stock levels.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a proven executive leader who thrives in complex, highly regulated environments and is passionate about operational excellence.
You'll bring with you:
- Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including proven expertise in aseptic filling operations
- Demonstrated executive leadership track record in complex, cross-functional environments with the ability to develop and deliver strategic business plans that translate into measurable impact
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic business plans, translating objectives into measurable impact across quality, compliance, and operational performance.
- Deep knowledge of sterile manufacturing environments and requirements, ensuring robust sterility assurance, product purity, and sustained regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards (GMP, 21 CFR Part 111, ISO 13485), with the ability to embed compliance into operational governance
- Proven capability to orchestrate alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, enabling end-to-end optimization while safeguarding product quality and patient outcomes
- Exceptional problem-solving and innovation skills, with experience implementing advanced automation, robotics, or predictive analytics in manufacturing settings
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive cultural and organizational change, coach leaders, and build high-performing teams in high-pressure environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
