The Positions

As a Senior IT & Automation Project Manager, you will: 

  • Lead cross-functional IT & Automation projects by aligning them with organisational goals, while developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, governance structures, and risk management strategies 

  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and alignment across both internal teams and external partners and represent IT & Automation projects in various forums by communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership 

  • Drive project execution and governance, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement 

  • Mentor and support the development of project team members, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and high team performance 

  • Oversee resource allocation across multiple initiatives to ensure optimal use of time and capabilities, balancing competing demands and priorities effectively 

 

Qualifications 

For the Senior Project Manager assigned to Warehouse/Intralogistics, we seek and individual with a strong IT background and ideally knowledge with MES; for the other Senior Project Manager, to be focused on Aseptic Production, we seek a strong automation background and PLC/SCADA expertise. 

 

Furthermore, to succeed in this role, you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or MBA) in a relevant field preferred 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT and/or Automation engineering, including hardware, software, and process development within the pharmaceutical industry 

  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools, risk mitigation and data analysis, including leading cross-functional and complex projects 

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing professional teams (including ability to lead and mentor teams) and drive innovation and engagement 

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken 

 

 

On a personal level, you demonstrate accountability and an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to tackle change management and innovation initiatives. You possess strong stakeholder management skills paired with clear and effective communication. 

Finally, you are a strategic thinker with resilience, agility and a can do attitude.

Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) is part of Novo Nordisk’s newly established Fill & Finish area. Our mission is to increase production capacity across the Novo Nordisk network to ensure we continue delivering high-quality products to our patients.
