The Position

As a Senior Buyer, you’ll manage the procurement of materials, goods and services for the organisation, ensuring that you are optimising the cost, cash, quality and service. You’ll drive added value through sourcing strategically, value engineering, innovation delivery and risk management

Furthermore, you will:

• Lead, engage and develop cross functional teams to drive projects to completion.
• Influence key stakeholder to implement the innovation strategy and ensure site procurement is engaged and aligned
• Deliver KPI’s relating to cost, cash, quality, service and continuity of supply for the portfolio.
• Minimise risk to continuity of supply by carrying out supplier risk assessments and implement corrective actions as required.
• Provide regular value contribution reporting to the Site Leadership Team with regards to site and the organization.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should hold a university degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement functions within a global setting.

In addition, you have:

• Working knowledge and experience in procurement and best practices
• Good understanding of supply market, industry and category dynamics
• Proficiency in stakeholder management, leading cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with agility and flexibility in complex scenarios
• Fluent English and Italian, both written and spoken

About the Department

The procurement team has a cross functional experience with focus on results, teamwork approach, delivering value, giving attention to sustainability topics.

As a team we managed both Direct and Indirect spend. The main Stakeholders are engineering, production, finance, HR and supply chain dealing with suppliers Worldwide located.
