The position
As a Finance & Procurement Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategy to support the Fill & Finish Expansions' (FFEx) site Anagni goals and targets, directing daily financial and accounting operations for all FFEx site Anagni activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external financial regulations and standards e.g. local law, legacy Catalent procedures and NN requirements and directing and leading the work to adhere to standards from FFEx to procure efficiently in an organized environment between partners and systems. Besides, you will have the people management of department including, hiring, coaching, performance evaluations and development of direct references within the team.
Your other responsibilities will be to:

Lead financial planning and analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives and to develop and maintain for FFEx site Anagni overall procurement strategy

Maintain FFEx site Anagni overall procurement and contract management strategy and embedding in all relevant contracts and controls

Communicate financial performance and strategy to senior leadership and other stakeholders and act as a key influencer in executive decision-making, ensuring procurement strategies align with corporate objectives.

Lead and develop a team of finance and procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and manage organisational design, structure, and development within the finance & procurement function
Qualifications
You have minimum requirements including a master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. You are fluent in Italian and English. Further sought after skills are

10+ years of relevant experience in finance leadership roles with proven experience in leading and managing diverse teams, expertise in identifying and solving complex financial problems

Procurement leadership experience with heavy bias towards capital projects, engineering or construction procurement

Proven track record of managing multiple finance sub-functions, and leading large capital expansion projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science sector
-
Experience in leading multifunctional work groups and strategic projects

Extensive experience in supplier negotiations, contract management and procurement strategy development
As a person you have excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely, strong ability to engage and communicate with various key stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners, strong understanding of the broader business.

Our project is part of a global initiative with sister projects in Denmark, France, and the USA. You will be working on-site in Anagni. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a strong focus on innovation and excellence.
