The position 

As the Communications & Public Affairs Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the internal and external communication strategy for the Anagni site. You will act as a strategic advisor, ensuring alignment between business objectives and communication efforts.  

 

Key responsibilities include to: 

 

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies, drive leadership messaging, manage communication channels, and enhance employee engagement through effective storytelling and campaigns 

  • Oversee and guide external communication, including media relations, VIP visits, public affairs for what pertains the production site, 

  • Support and advise the Site GM on communication efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging across internal and external platforms 

  • Drive cross-functional communication initiatives that reinforce company culture, strategic goals, and change management processes, in close collaboration with the People&Organization team 

  • Engage with stakeholders at local, national, and global levels to build meaningful relationships and promote business value 

 

Furthermore, you will manage media interactions, press materials, digital campaigns, and branding efforts to strengthen the company’s reputation, according to the global NN communication strategy and in alignment with the communication team from the Italian affiliate. 

 

 

Qualifications 

This role requires a proactive, strategic, and hands-on leader with strong communication expertise, public affairs experience, and the ability to drive cultural and organizational transformation. 

 

To succeed in this role, you: 

  • Hold an academic degree within relevant subjects (ie. Communication, Journalism, Public Affairs, …) 

  • At least 5 years of experience within communication and public affairs, with managerial responsibility and exposure to GM and Leadership team 

  • Have experience in managing high media visibility for companies undergoing expansions/crisis/restructuring 

  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills 

  • Are fully proficient in both English and Italian 

 

It will be seen as an advantage if you have gained experience within the pharmaceutical/chemistry industry and production environment.
