End of 2024, Novo Nordisk acquired the manufacturing site Catalent Anagni S.r.l. with the ambition to expand our capacity to meet the needs of millions of patients. You will be part of a global team that will develop the pharma facilities of the future and work with advanced technology to rethink our fill & finish facilities.

The position

As a Capex Leader Equipment /Systems SME, you will coordinate the improvement of manufacturing processes, methods, and quality for efficiency as well as manage the URS development and approval for equipment/systems to be installed or modified and support development for all new investment processes (Capex).

Your responsibilities will:

  • Manage the development, testing, sourcing, and cost-justification of various tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods and collaborate with the Engineering Manager in process/product analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
  • Maintain records, files, and documentation such as process set-up sheets and PFMEAs. Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures and coordinate the team and ensure the completeness of project deliverable and support and promote all requirements for overall project engineering and procurement schedules.
  • Establish key interfaces and build relationships with internal customers and key team members to align project goals. Collaborate with the procurement team and operations to develop the technical requirements and specifications of goods and services.
  • Manage and continually assess the skill levels of direct reports, providing growth and development opportunities. Issue/update standard operating procedures related to your area of expertise and ensure relevant training is carried out.
  • Ensure all personnel under your supervision operate in accordance with cGMP and EHS procedures, assuring SOP drafting and implementation of training in compliance with current regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical system installation, qualification, and start-up.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role as a resources coordinator.
