The main responsibilities are:

  • Support the development of the Field Medical strategic plans based on your patient-centric mindset as well as your personal in field insights and identified unmet needs or evidence gaps.
  • Main responsible for an excellent roll-out and tactical execution of the Field Medical Strategic plans
  • Lead scientific and medical communications and projects with relevant stakeholders; Identify, build and maintain strong collaborations and relationships with current and future KOL and other relevant stakeholders
  • Contributes, aligns, and supports to different internal and cross functional colleagues (e.g. Clinical Operations, Medical Education, Market Access)

 

In this position you will be responsible for the southern region of the Netherlands, specifically Noord Brabant, Zeeland, and Limburg.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences; preferably Medical Doctor and/or PhD
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience; preferably within cardiology
  • Medical-scientific expert within the relevant therapeutic area, cardiovascular
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to apply in-dept scientific knowledge and translate this to daily clinical practice
  • Teamplayer
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional matrix
  • Proactive problem-solver with a ‘can do’ mentality
  • Result-driven and set to achieve goals
  • Willingness to travel in the Netherlands
  • Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken

 

About the Department

Medical Affairs is a department within the Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) department, responsible for the medical and scientific dialogue supporting the appropriate use of innovative treatments including Novo Nordisk products. Medical Affairs ensures that Novo Nordisk’s activities are undertaken in an ethical and appropriately scientific manner, thereby safeguarding the trust and respect of health care professionals and patients. Medical Affairs is divided into an office team of Medical Advisors and a field medical advisor team. In this role, you’ll become part of an engaging and dedicated team that strives for excellence, sharing the same passion and commitment in the journey of improving patients’ lives. In this role you’ll be reporting into the Manager Field Medical Advisors.
