Your new role
As a Medical Advisor for Obesity in the Netherlands, you'll pioneer medical education strategies in the dynamic private market. This newly created role places you at the intersection of medical science and commercial insight, where you'll translate complex clinical evidence into practical knowledge for healthcare providers delivering obesity care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing medical education programs tailored to the private market
- Acting as the scientific voice and trusted advisor for healthcare professionals
- Translating needs from the field into actionable medical education strategies that drive market understanding and patient access
- Working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, business development, and strategy to ensure medical excellence in all activities
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the private healthcare sector, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities
- Analyzing market dynamics and asking the right questions to extract insights that shape our medical strategy
- Ensuring all medical activities maintain the highest scientific integrity and comply with regulatory requirements and company policies

Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a Medical Advisor who combines scientific credibility with market understanding and the ability to navigate the unique dynamics of private healthcare. You'll bring:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) or advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, MSc in relevant life sciences) with strong clinical knowledge in obesity, endocrinology or related therapeutic areas
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical practice or pharmaceutical industry roles
- Native Dutch speaker with excellent command of English for internal collaboration
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics, identify unmet needs and extract actionable insights from field intelligence
- Strong communication and educational skills, capable of translating complex scientific data for diverse healthcare professional audiences
- Experience or strong interest in the private healthcare market (lifestyle clinics, aesthetic medicine, cosmetic practices) is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions including marketing, sales, and business development
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a newly established team where you can shape strategy and approach

Salary
For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 85,550.00 to 128,340.00 EUR, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
