The position

As a CEM Medical Manager specializing in GLP-1, you will support focus areas within the CEM affiliate, aligned with global and Business Area (BA) strategies, ensuring full compliance with Business Ethics Compliance Framework and local laws.

Your key responsibilities are as below but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of medical strategies for GLP-1 products, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical associations to foster scientific dialogue and enhance the understanding of GLP-1 therapies.
  • Oversee the planning and dissemination of scientific publications and medical education initiatives to support evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Develop and drive advancement of Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives in the CEM region.
  • Provide medical guidance to internal teams, including marketing, regulatory, and market access, to ensure compliant and effective product communication.
  • Manage and develop regional medical advisors, promoting continuous learning and expertise in the GLP-1 therapeutic area.

 

Qualifications

You have an in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and company operations and knowledge of the healthcare system. Also, ability to integrate scientific and business insights.

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • Medical degree (MD) or PhD from a recognized medical academy.
  • Clinical expertise is an advantage.
  • Professional experience in Medical Affairs 3-5 years.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and company operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

About the department

You will join the team of employees of the Novo Nordisk representative office in Kazakhstan, reporting to the Medical, Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance Head CEM in Almaty. Novo Nordisk Kazakhstan is a diverse and future-looking team holding key products in the portfolio for management of diabetes. Novo Nordisk Kazakhstan is part of the Region Emerging Markets, operating under the cluster of CIS Emerging Markets.
