Your new role

 

The role involves leading and managing the Medical Affairs team to effectively plan and execute medical strategies that align with the affiliate’s objectives and brand plans. The position ensures medical and scientific excellence in supporting business goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining compliance while driving short-, medium and long-term medical initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Management and coaching of Medical Affairs team
  • Drive KOL engagement and ensure timely execution of HCP interaction plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement publication plans for assigned products.
  • Manage Advisory Boards, from agenda design to insight utilization.
  • Oversee scientific content and KOL management for Novo Nordisk educational meetings.
  • Providing medical and scientific inputs & insights for marketing campaigns and building business strategy  including signing off marketing materials in compliance with local code and relevant legislation
  • Providing support to Market Access and Regulatory Affairs for government submissions
  • Support clinical operations, investigator-initiated trials, and Market Access submissions.
  • Deliver medical education, training, and cross-functional collaboration to advance strategic goals.
  • Contributing actively to the medical management team and to cross functional project groups

Your skills & qualifications

 

To be successful in this role, it’s required to be graduated as Medical Doctor.

You also need to have:

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in medical affairs role within pharmaceutical industry. Management experience and experience in the disease area of Diabetes and Cardiovascular would be preferable ,
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and set clear direction.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, engagement, and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and ability to manage complex tasks and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Strong networking and communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Proven capacity to adapt quickly to evolving environments and new challenges.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with solid proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
