The position

As the Junior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will be responsible for overall budgeting of ex-factory sales and cost and ensuring that Novo Nordisk Algeria reaches its financial and strategic goals.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the contact for the different departments by optimising, consulting and understanding the cost review process.
  • Conducting pre-review with peers of each department on realised cost vs. budget on a monthly basis.
  • Supporting on the preparation, execution and review of budget exercises throughout the year and any other process required to implement the company's financial planning.
  • Supporting in data management by contributing to the updating and optimisation of the department's manual files.
  • Support in the development of projects that consolidate the department as a finance partner for the organization.

Qualifications

  • You have at least two years’ experience in similar position, graduated with a master degree in corporate finance.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Good in communication of quantitative analysis
  • Proven success and experience in planning, prioritising, executing and follow-up in a timely manner and proactively identify and manage risks and issues
  • Proficiency of SAP, Business warehouse, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • In-depth understanding of similar multinational company global budgeting processes is a plus.

About the department

You will be joining the Financial Planning & Analysis team part of the Finance and Operations department, the FP&A is responsible for financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders, leveraging data and business insights to create value and ensure transparency in organisational performance.
