The Position
As a Senior Manager, Digital and Customer Engagement Capabilities, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with commercial and customer engagement teams to identify development needs and ensure meaningful capability enhancements. Acting as a strategic partner, you will align customer engagement practices with business and regional objectives, serving as an advisory resource for affiliates and regional leaders on projects aimed at upgrading customer engagement skills. You will report directly to the Director of Digital and Customer Engagement Capabilities.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance capabilities across the region.
- Lead initiatives to upgrade digital skills within customer engagement teams, designing and implementing targeted training plans focused on digital competencies.
- Coordinate with external vendors to support and enrich training initiatives.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing continuous improvements.
- Facilitate field visits to observe practices, gather feedback, and support organizational change management initiatives related to customer engagement.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree in a relevant area, such as HR, organisational psychology, or sociology. A Master’s degree or MBA is nice to have.
- 6-8 years of experience in training and development roles, preferably in the multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Executive presentation skills.
- Relevant IT skills and usage of AI tools
- Working with multi-national set-up

The Digital and Customer Engagement department is at the forefront of guiding Emerging Markets in creating and implementing dynamic omnichannel customer engagement campaigns. We aim to maximize the performance and adoption of existing engagement channels to meet evolving customer needs. Within this vibrant environment, the Capability Team is known for its energy and passion for building future-fit customer engagement teams. This team focuses on enhancing both frontline and back-office Customer Engagement performance through tailored capability training, coaching, and continuous process improvements.
