Senior Finance Excellence Manager

This is the opportunity to lead change across Emerging Markets, transform core finance operations with innovative digital solutions, and create measurable business impact. We are hiring a Senior Finance Excellence Manager, to drive excellence in Accounting and Financial Compliance across Emerging Markets. This is a perfect role for a strategic finance leader who enjoys solving complex problems, developing the organisation, and turning process transformation into real business value. The position will be based either in Copenhagen or Istanbul and reporting to Finance Operations Director in Zurich.

Your new position

As Senior Finance Excellence Manager you will play a key role in transforming and strengthening our regional finance foundation, uphold organisational values, and engage with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful financial outcomes. In this individual contributor role you will:

• Lead and execute Accounting and Financial Compliance strategic plans that balance compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
• Reduce overdue trade receivables, and improve working capital performance
• Champion standardisation, optimisation, and digital transformation of finance procedures within Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P).
• Promote compliance programs and strong internal control environment.
• Lead the regional accounting agenda by setting priorities, coordinating the EM Finance Operations LT, and collaborate with HQ and GBS to drive high‑impact financial initiatives.

Support the continuously development of a future-ready Finance Operations organisation through off-shoring, upskilling, and onboarding of innovative digital solutions.

Your new department

Emerging markets Finance Operations supports end-to-end finance activities across emerging market countries, covering accounting, tax, and treasury operations—including financial compliance. The department ensures timely, efficient and accurate execution, enabling informed decision-making in fast-evolving markets.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a strategic finance professional who blends strong technical knowledge with practical delivery experience and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial compliance frameworks, ideally with a background as financial auditor.
• Proven experience leading finance process transformation withing accounting or compliance.
• Your stakeholder management skills are strong, and you have good intercultural skills to engage with different cultures.
• You should have excellent command over both written and spoken English.
