This is an exciting global opportunity to join Novo Nordisk Rare Disease as an Online Customer Engagement Manager, based in Istanbul, Turkey, reporting to the Senior Director and Head of Rare Disease Communication, Public Affairs and Sustainability based in Zurich, Switzerland.

 

The position

As an Online Customer Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for innovating the way we do customer engagement, ensure organisational adoption, and execute on our digital customer engagement strategy in the rare disease space. In collaboration with core teams, you will be driving the planning and execution of multichannel customer engagement before, during and after congresses. As our digital subject matter expert, you will be giving input to maximize commercial customer engagements at global congresses through our digital presence (e.g., online congress platform, SoMe, e-mail, video content, apps, and more). You will be responsible for our digital congress ecosystem and develop our approach to manage and optimise all specific congress-related internal and external communication pieces across digital engagement channels (e.g., webinars, email newsletters). As our Online Customer Engagement Manager, you will:

 

  • Be working as a project manager, planning, executing, and evaluation our digital presence at global congresses, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure that our multichannel customer engagement efforts are optimised for each congress
  • Be our subject matter expert, providing input to the content strategy and multichannel plans for our Rare Disease therapy areas, while working together with the global brand and medical teams
  • Utilise your experience from prior projects and consider broad cross-portfolio/functional requirements and implications when initiating a project
  • Ensure strong stakeholder management by recognising areas of mutual interest, proposes solutions and makes clear considerations for how to strengthen relationships

 

Qualifications

You have a relevant academic degree, preferably a master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within digital customer engagement and event management in a multinational company. Having a global or regional experience is a plus. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background. This position requires 40% of travel accordingly to business needs.

 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities and effective time management skills
  • Experience from working in a multi-country setting and with project management involving senior stakeholders
  • Proven success in brand strategy, customer engagement, congress management, marketing campaigns, and portfolio management
  • Strong business drive with customer centricity, business acumen and be able to contribute to cross-functional collaboration
  • Digital skills and understanding and having leveraging insights in strategy and tactics experiences
