Legal, Ethics & Compliance Intern

Your new role
As Legal, Ethics & Compliance Intern you will conduct research on legal and regulatory matters relevant to the company’s operations and support monitoring of adherence to internal policies and external regulations. You will also assist in preparing materials and compiling documentation for internal and external audits. Moreover you will:
- Track audit findings and follow up on remediation actions.
- Maintain and organise legal and compliance records to ensure they are accurate, current and readily accessible.
- Prepare draft contracts and amendments under the supervision of senior team members.
- Draft and edit internal newsletters and communications on legal and compliance matters.
- Maintain the team’s SharePoint site and other document repositories, ensuring files are current and well organised.
- Prepare slide decks and supporting materials for presentations on legal and compliance topics.
- Draft emails and correspondence to internal stakeholders as required.

Your skills & qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s law degree from a reputable law school with strong academic performance. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and sufficient to coordinate the responsibilities of the role.
- Availability to work on site at the company for a minimum of four days per week.
- Previous internship experience in law firms and/or corporate legal departments is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- High learning agility and ability to integrate quickly into a small team.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
