Your new role
As Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Novo Nordisk communicates with employees, stakeholders and the wider world. You will develop and deliver communication initiatives that bring our strategy, culture and purpose to life – ensuring clarity, consistency and impact across every channel. . This position is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, and will report to the Communications and Corporate Affairs Director. Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Strategic Communications: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with Novo Nordisk's goals and values.
  • Internal Communications: Design and execute internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement, drive company culture, and manage internal information flow.
  • CEO Communications: Manage the CEO's internal and external communication agenda, including drafting leadership messaging and supporting high-level representations.
  • Patient Activation: Lead strategic patient activation projects to raise awareness and support patients throughout their healthcare journey, in line with our patient-centric approach.
  • Content Management: Oversee content management across various platforms, ensuring all communications are consistent, engaging, and impactful.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage external stakeholder relationships, including agencies, PR firms, social media influencers, and other third parties.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze communication outcomes to drive improvements and enhance engagement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Communications Director to align objectives and report on progress.

 

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on communicator who thrives in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment. You bring a strong sense of storytelling, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels. Ideally, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in internal communications, leadership communication, and patient activation.
  • Strong understanding of social media dynamics and influencer marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
