This role is based in Istanbul, Turkey, and you will be directly reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager.
 

The position 
As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), you will conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closure visits throughout the country.
You will be expected to take the leadership of site management for the selection & initiation of sites, site monitoring, and site close-out activities via acting as the primary point of contact between site staff and Novo Nordisk.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to:

  • Conduct the trials at sites in compliance with the currently approved protocol/amendment(s), with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and with the applicable regulatory requirement(s), ensuring that the rights and well-being of human subjects are protected and verify from source documents that the reported trial data are accurate and complete.
  • Comply with reporting requirements including but not limited to monitoring visits.
  • Coordinate clinical trial-related processes with investigators.
  • Compile clinical trial documents according to local regulations.


Qualifications
You hold a minimum bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or another relevant field with experience in the clinical research area (as Site Coordinator, Clinical Trial Assistant, Clinical Research Assistant, etc). You are fluent both in English and Turkish. Apart from that, we expect you to have:

 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in direct site monitoring and performing all types of visits
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and successfully cooperate with internal and external stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaderss
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and electronic clinical trials systems
  • Strong analytical and project management skills and ability to multitask
  • A strong qualitative and quantitative background

About the department
Clinical Development Centre Turkey is responsible for all clinical operations activities within Türkiye and project management of clinical studies conducted in Ukraine, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Morocco. The team consists of more than 60 employees as TAs team members, Clinical Operations Excellence team members and Start-up team members.
