Your impact begins here
As VP Assistant & Event Coordinator, you will help the BA West Vice President and leadership team make the most of their time together. You will bring structure to calendars, priorities, travel and meetings, and plan leadership meetings, offsites and team events that connect colleagues across BA West countries. When the details are in place and events run smoothly, leaders can focus on the decisions that matter and teams can collaborate with clarity and momentum.
What you’ll bring
You enjoy creating structure, connecting people and keeping things running smoothly – even when priorities shift. You will also bring:
- An administrative background and/or a bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of experience in a similar assistant or coordinator role.
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience supporting procurement processes.
- The ability to build relationships with new stakeholders, solve problems independently and adapt when priorities change.
- Pride in delivering high-quality support, and the discretion to handle confidential information with care.
- Some experience coordinating events, offsites or meetings for teams working across several countries.
What you’ll do
This is a varied role that combines day-to-day leadership support with event coordination. You will use sound judgement and flexibility to keep work moving and make sure people have what they need.
- Manage the VP’s calendar, priorities, travel, expenses and meetings, so time is spent where it creates the most value.
- Plan BA West leadership meetings and offsites from start to finish, including venues and logistics.
- Coordinate events for teams across BA West that bring colleagues together.
- Support the onboarding of new colleagues and help create an engaging office environment in Copenhagen.
- Follow up on the unit budget and adjustments together with the Finance Business Partner.
- Support internal communications and work with colleagues and external partners as needed.
Who you’ll work with
You will work closely with the BA West Vice President and the leadership team. BA West brings together leaders and teams across the regional office in Copenhagen and the BA West countries. Day to day, you will partner with country colleagues, fellow assistants, and the partners involved in events and the Copenhagen office. These relationships are how plans become reality: you will bring the right people together, keep priorities clear and follow through, so leaders and teams can move at pace.
What you can expect here
You will be trusted to take ownership, make your voice heard and shape how the BA West leadership team and wider teams work and meet.
