Tech Lead

The Position
As a Tech Lead, you will be a trusted technology advisor and a cornerstone of our product teams, where innovation and collaboration thrive. In this role you will work with a large group of innova-tion consultants, designers, architects and business people to crystalise exactly what the focus of a product should be, and to validate core hypothesises and potential solutions. You accept that processes and tools are seldom perfect or simple, but the result of layers of decisions and habits made with the best intension.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fostering an environment where architectural and technical decisions happen within the product team. Your past experiences will help guide the team to create strong and sus-tainable products.
- Building, deploying, and maintaining digital products using agile engineering practices.
- Driving agile software development practices, including DevOps and user-centric meth-odologies.
- Engaging with key strategic areas in Global IT to align and mature software development standards and tools.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and quality requirements, particularly in a regulated in-dustry like pharma.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver sus-tainable, maintainable solutions.
- Exploring and integrating technologies (new as well as old) and leveraging modern tools to continuously improve our tech stack.
- Acting as a mentor, coach, and advisor to junior colleagues and peers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience as a lead architect or engineer.
- Expertise in cloud development, large-scale back-end systems, and front-end develop-ment.
- Proficiency in C# (.Net), asynchronous programming, distributed architectures, API de-velopment, and TDD/DDD.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, DevOps, and modern software develop-ment practices.
- Familiarity with SCM tools like Git and a track record of integrating complex systems.

The Digital Health Solutions (DHS) department operates at the intersection of technology and business, driving transformative digital solutions for Novo Nordisk. Collaborating closely with business units, the department builds end-to-end digital products using best-practice software development and agile methodologies. Through specialized units working with digital products, DHS fosters an agile culture, spearheads innovation, and advances iterative learning while de-ploying novel technologies to solve critical business challenges.
With a focus on excellence in software engineering, the department provides technical expertise, supports digital product development, and promotes innovation across all levels. By leveraging modern technologies and aligning technical strategies with business goals, DHS ensures sustain-able, scalable, and high-impact digital solutions. Located primarily in the Greater Copenhagen area, DP combines global collaboration with a commitment to continuous learning and profes-sional growth, making it a pivotal contributor to Novo Nordisk’s digital transformation.
