As Sr. Media Planner, you will shape media planning for Novo Nordisk, turning consumer, audience and market insights into plans that drive real impact. You will co-create the annual media strategy, define audience and channel priorities, and help regional and local teams plan with greater consistency, clarity and impact. Ultimately, your work will strengthen how Novo reaches people across markets worldwide, helping inspire meaningful action towards lasting health.

What you'll bring

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, media, communications, business, consumer insights or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years experience in media planning, communications planning, marketing strategy or a related strategic planning role.
  • Proven experience developing integrated media plans across multiple markets and channels, including digital, social, video, search, retail media and offline.
  • Experience using consumer, audience and media research to shape strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
  • A track record of translating global strategy into practical planning guidance for regional and local teams.
  • Experience collaborating with media agencies, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to influence across markets and functions.
  • Strategic, commercially minded thinking combined with strong analytical judgement and attention to detail.

What you'll do

You will deliver central media planning that connects consumer understanding with business priorities, helping Novo identify the right audiences, channels and moments across markets.

  • Shape annual and quarterly media planning cycles, incorporating shifts in business priorities, consumer behaviour, media performance and investment levels.
  • Define priority audiences and recommend channel roles, media mix, sequencing, reach, frequency and phasing across the consumer journey.
  • Embed global-to-local planning frameworks and tools that improve consistency while allowing relevant market adaptation.
  • Integrate consumer research, audience insights, cultural trends and media consumption data into actionable planning recommendations.
  • Connect media plans to measurable outcomes
  • Capture and share planning best practices, market learnings and relevant innovation across the global media community.

Who you'll work with

You will join the Digital Media Activation team within International Operations, working across markets to strengthen how media investment is planned, measured and optimised.

Your closest partners will include media, brand teams, regional and local media teams across markets, as well as commercial, consumer insights, finance, legal and measurement colleagues. Externally, you will work with global media agencies, platforms, research partners and technology providers.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
