Senior Project Manager - Digital Marketing
Ørestad, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
At Novo Nordisk, we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who can turn complex challenges into tangible outcomes — someone who brings clarity, structure, and creativity to every initiative.
This isn’t just project management. It’s about shaping how we connect, innovate, deliver impact that lasts and transform the industry!
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll sit at the core of our Consumer/Patient Engagement team, leading cross-functional initiatives that drive digital transformation within digital marketing across the Region EUCAN.
You’ll be the bridge between strategy and execution — overseeing timelines, budgets, and risks while fostering collaboration between creative, commercial, and technical experts.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end digital marketing and consumer engagement projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the region to align project goals with business objectives and ensure strategic coherence.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and continuous monitoring.
- Drive process excellence, creating slides, introducing innovative tools and methodologies that elevate project quality and execution.
- Spearhead innovative projects to test new channels, fight for bigger investments or open up new engagement pathways.
You’ll work independently and with confidence, balancing strategic foresight with hands-on execution, operating closely with the Digital Media Hub, the International Operation FAST team, and affiliate marketing partners to ensure every project achieves meaningful impact.
This is an on-site position at our office in Ørestad.
Your new department
You’ll join the Consumer/Patient Engagement department, a passionate regional team setting new digital marketing standards and shaping how Novo Nordisk connects with the world.
We bring together data, creativity, and purpose to craft online and offline experiences that inform, inspire, and engage. Every touchpoint we create supports our mission to defeat serious chronic diseases and make a lasting difference in people’s lives. It is for a reason we are described as a start-up within, if you thrive in agile dynamic environment with international people this is a place to be.
You’ll work alongside execution specialists, web and acquisition channel experts, and data & insights professionals, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Consumer/Patient Engagement — in a team where innovation meets impact every day.
Your skills and qualifications
We’re looking for a structured yet creative professional, someone who can bring order to complexity, translate ideas into plans, and turn plans into real results.
If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, collaboration, and execution, this is your opportunity to make an impact that matters.
To succeed in this position, you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Agile and Project Management, or a related field (a Master’s is preferred).
- 5 years of experience in project management, ideally within FMCG, consultancy, start-ups, or scale-ups.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects, with strong financial and risk-management skills.
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners across markets.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and the facilitation of agile ceremonies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, and the independence to make decisions that move projects forward.
