Join Novo Nordisk as a Sr Manager, Strategic Projects for both Europe & Canada (EUCAN) Corporate Affairs team and EUCAN People & Organisation regional team — a unique role that combines strategic partnership with hands-on project leadership.
Your new role
As Sr Manager, Strategic Projects you will play a dual role: leading high-impact crossfunctional projects across EUCAN markets and Corporate Affairs; and support strategic projects in EUCAN People & Organisation (P&O) with a EUCAN market and Regional Office impact. You’ll act as a key partner in driving business priorities, fostering collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence within the Executive Office.
In this role you will:
- Lead and manage crossfunctional projects across EUCAN functions and markets, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Align stakeholders and project workstreams, managing expectations and fostering strong collaboration.
- Support the VP of P&O with strategic projects for Region EUCAN and the Regional Office, including data insights, progress tracking and the communication of impact. Projects include Implementation of in-office culture, Recognition platform, Title alignment and future taxonomy, New performance management process, Capabilities for now and the future (analysis), incl ‘Affiliate of the Future’ and Strategic alignment / updated EUCAN strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing organisational insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Shape and drive department initiatives, promoting knowledge sharing, strong team spirit, and skill development.
- Prepare and facilitate key meetings, including agenda setting, briefing materials, and follow-ups.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You have strong stakeholder management skills, are highly independent, and have the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
To be successful, you should have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on commercial, economic, scientific, or engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of proven track record in a strategy consulting and/or corporate project management role.
- Demonstrated ability to apply consulting and financial frameworks and methodologies effectively.
- Strong functional experience in areas such as strategy, business development, marketing, sales, product development, supply chain, organisational development, or digital transformation. Knowledge and experience in Human Resources disciplines is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
