Your new role

As Senior Manager for Diabetes Commercial, you will drive the commercial success of our products and services on an international scale. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement marketing strategies, lead high-impact promotional initiatives, and analyse market dynamics to ensure our brands achieve their full potential. Working cross-functionally, you will shape marketing activities that resonate with target audiences and deliver strong business results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support development and implementation of commercial strategies to achieve growth objectives for assigned products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Design and execute advertising and promotional campaigns, and lead creation of international promotional materials to enhance brand visibility and ensure regional alignment.
  • Analyse sales performance and refine marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and improved results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide actionable insights and performance reports to senior leadership to support seamless execution and strategic planning.

Your new department

You will be part of the Medical, Marketing & Regulatory team at Novo Nordisk in International Operations. This department plays a critical role in driving innovative marketing strategies and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. The position is based in Copenhagen, where you will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our team is dedicated to fostering cohesive strategies and bridging efforts between International Operations and Strategic Operations to drive unified outcomes. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Manager, Diabetes Commercial, who can analyse market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to spot opportunities and build long-term strategies that support Novo Nordisk’s goals. You take a meticulous, data-driven approach to monitoring sales, market performance and campaign results to ensure marketing is optimised for success.
To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold an academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience primarily in brand marketing, or related field. To have pharmaceutical and diabetes experience is an advantage
  • Have proven expertise in market analysis, product development, and campaign management, ideally feeling comfortable with developing business cases
  • Possess strong skills in monitoring, analysing, and evaluating market data to uncover actionable insights, ensuring that marketing efforts are data-driven and impactful
  • Are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken

You are a strong communicator who can present insights, influence stakeholders and drive decisions. You are collaborative and able to work across departments to implement product changes and ensure alignment, while also able to work independently and take ownership. Finally, you are customer-focused and use feedback to improve products and enhance satisfaction.
