At Novo Nordisk we’re looking for a Regional S&OP and Launch Manager to take ownership of the S&OP process for upcoming product launches. 
You will be responsible for ensuring strong communication and alignment among all stakeholders, including the Product Supply Launch Office, International Operations (IO) Launch Team, S&OP leads, and commercial colleagues in the region. 
This role is unique because you will be a strategic contributor to our pursuit of excel-lence in Supply Chain while ensuring the accuracy of launch timings as they relate to financial processes.


Your new role

In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing the S&OP process for product launches within your region. You will facilitate robust communication during execu-tion, ensuring successful alignment with the Product Supply Launch Office and Central Launch Team in IO.
Your other responsibilities would include:

 

  • Oversee and coordinate the S&OP process for planned product launches, main-taining clarity and consistency across all channels.
  • Foster strong relationships and communication between the Product Supply Launch Office, Central Launch Team in IO, S&OP leads, and regional commer-cial colleagues to drive alignment and preemptively address challenges.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis on the impact of planned launches on supply and demand to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Liaise with finance teams to ensure that launch timings align with financial processes and commitments, minimizing risk in both forecasting and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify potential launch-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution at affiliate level.
  • Provide input and support for S&OP processes to enhance overall decision-making and operational efficiency, especially concerning launch execution.

 

Your responsibilities will encompass clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders, particularly with S&OP leads and commercial teams in the region, ensur-ing everyone is informed and coordinated throughout the launch process. You will ana-lyze potential impacts of launch timings on overall demand and supply, ensuring eve-rything is documented and maintained effectively in our planning system.
This position is office-based, located in our office in Ørestad.

 

Your new department

Our department S&OP and Demand Management focuses on improving and sustaining our S&OE, S&OP and demand management processes, particularly within our Region. We work closely with central functions, mainly Finance and Operations, and other re-gional teams to drive decision-making and resolution of business cases. The overall supply chain team is anchored within Finance and Operations, emphasizing our stra-tegic partnership with Finance.
 You will be part of a dynamic team of three within Demand Management and five col-leagues in S&OP, reporting directly to the Director of S&OP.  

 

Your skills and qualification

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders. You are comfortable challenging ideas respectfully and securing alignment and commitment on key launch management decisions. 
You should bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Manage-ment, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience within Supply Chain Management with a focus on S&OP or product launches.
  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning and product launches, with strong skills in forecasting, stakeholder management, and cross-functional col-laboration across the pharmaceutical, MedTech, or biotechnology sec-tors.  
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with OMP (our demand planning tool) and Power BI is considered an advantage.
  • A background in working with cross-cultural teams and managing diverse stakeholders.

You are also someone who translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that supports effective decision-making. Above all, you are proactive and self-driven, using your deep understanding of the functional area to anticipate challenges and develop smart, practical solutions.
