Your new role

As a Procurement Intern in Region Emerging Markets, you'll develop professional competencies through meaningful work that matters. This is a 20-37 hour per week position on a 1-year contract, based in our Ørestad office in Copenhagen, where you'll work alongside experienced colleagues who are invested in your growth.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and optimizing procurement policies and processes while supporting the execution of our regional procurement strategy
  • Developing monthly reports tracking procurement KPIs and compliance data to drive informed decision-making
  • Preparing and launching RfXs (Request for Quotation/Proposal) in our systems, coordinating deadlines with internal and external stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures
  • Supporting sourcing processes through analysis and presentation preparation that influences organizational decisions
  • Tracking savings calculations, procurement KPIs, and working with diverse data sources to support strategic analysis including affiliate spend, supplier strategies, and project pipelines
  • Contributing to sustainability initiatives and enhancing our digitalization agenda through SharePoint updates and process improvements
  • Providing support to internal stakeholders across the region with general sourcing questions

You'll be part of the Procurement function within Region Emerging Markets, which covers Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America & Africa – a diverse region spanning more than 120 countries with over 3,000 dedicated colleagues. The Procurement team sits within the broader Finance & Operations department, with main offices in Zurich and hubs in Istanbul, Warsaw, and Copenhagen. In our Copenhagen hub, you'll collaborate with colleagues from different regions and functions, giving you exposure to the breadth of our international operations.


Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a proactive, curious learner who thrives in dynamic, multicultural environments. To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with a natural flair for data analysis and working with numbers
  • A proactive, curious mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills that enable you to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment
  • Fast learning ability, service-minded approach, and a can-do attitude in dynamic situations
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of AI and digital applications/software (nice to have)
