The Position

As a Pricing director you will be responsible for leading the price business case handling within the assigned therapy area(s). Moreover, the role requires to monitor the market access, HTA and pricing landscape in Europe & Canada within the assigned therapy area(s) and lead the development and maintenance of pricing capabilities and analytics within the regional office and across the affiliates. The Pricing Director reports directly to the head of Pricing & Market Access in region EUCAN.

 

As Director, your main tasks will be:

  • Leading the price business case handling within the assigned therapy area(s), including international reference price (IRP) and parallel trade analytics
  • Act as liaison with affiliates and support them in developing ned business initiatives across the market access spectrum.  
  • Leading the execution of strategies and tactical plans within the assigned therapy area(s), and support affiliates to deliver on the strategic objectives by navigating the internal and external pricing opportunities
  • Influencing the understanding of affiliate market access needs and gaps to optimize market access and launch planning at regional, IO-SO and global levels. Moreover, influencing the awareness of regional trends, needs and positions towards Global and IO-SO pricing strategies to align company priorities.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of pricing capabilities and analytics across the region. Also leading the coordination of pricing activities and topics in the regional office across therapy areas.

 

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. or MBA degree within economics, business administration, finance or similar
  • At least 7 years of experience in pharma pricing, market access, business analytics or finance from an affiliate, regional or headquarter role or from a consultancy
  • Strong project and stakeholder management as well as interpersonal skills are required
  • Business acumen and problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify solutions and influence decisions towards patient access and business goals
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
