Your new role

As Patient Engagement Manager, you’ll deliver patient-centred awareness and activation initiatives across private, public and patient channels. You’ll drive creative, evidence-based approaches that challenge traditional engagement methods and introduce new solutions and channels with the overall objective to empower, activate and support people living with diabetes and obesity in Denmark. 

 

Your key responsibilities and deliveries will be to:

 

  • Lead the engagement and channel strategy for Diabetesliv.dk, ensuring the site is a current, user-friendly, one-stop resource for people living with diabetes and their relatives
  • Own digital content direction, user experience improvements, and performance measurement
  • Plan and execute patient and public awareness campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Marketing, Digital, Market Access to ensure integrated, compliant and locally relevant patient engagement activities
  • In addition to diabetes, you will also support patient engagement deliverables related to obesity and other disease areas

 

Your new department

Novo Nordisk’s Danish affiliate is based in Ørestad, Copenhagen, where you’ll be part of our Commercial Execution Team and join a team of very dedicated and passionate colleagues. The department’s main responsibility is to create and execute the obesity and diabetes strategy and deliver it via all relevant customer channels. At Novo Nordisk, we are on a new and exciting journey with innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross-functionally, we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring, and interacting with our customers and patients through digital channels and technologies.

 

Your skills & qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communication or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience, preferably in life sciences, FMCG or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience managing websites, creating/overseeing content and developing social media campaigns
  • Strong background in executing campaigns with local media, partners or influencers
  • Experience from a communications or media agency is an advantage
  • Direct-to-patient communication experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Danish and English is required
