Your new role
As Market and Patient Insights Manager, you will be the go-to sparring partner for our commercial execution teams, owning the insights that support commercial planning, forecasting and strategic decisions. You will set the agenda on market dynamics and explore new, AI-powered ways of understanding patients and competitors.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Acting as an active sparring partner to commercial execution teams, owning and driving the situational analysis that serves as the foundation for commercial plans
- Setting the agenda on market dynamics and ensuring the commercial organisation leverages market and competitor insights in planning and execution
- Driving market insights for obesity and diabetes, structuring them so they are easily accessible to key stakeholders, and investigating new ways of understanding dynamics in the market
- Exploring and applying AI and advanced analytics to develop predictive insights that strengthen scenario planning, opportunity identification and decision-making
- Providing concise, evidence-based inputs that inform affiliate strategy, support and challenge forecasts in close collaboration with the Business Finance & Analytics team
Your new department
Finance and Operations department in Novo Nordisk Denmark, based in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The team supports the Danish and Icelandic sales affiliates with finance and insights partnering, including budgeting, sales and cost performance reporting, in-depth market analysis, and supply chain activities.
The department consists of an international and diverse group of highly dedicated professionals. It is characterised by a lot of energy, collaboration, and trust. The team is ambitious, and the pace is high, but the tone is informal, and there is a fun and good-spirited atmosphere in the department.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a structured, analytical thinker who enjoys turning complex data into simple, actionable insights – and who is excited by what AI can unlock for more predictive insights. You will bring with you:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or another relevant field
- Around four years' relevant experience in a similar commercial role, with a proven track record of delivering insights that shape business decisions
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, result-oriented approach to working with data, with the ability to distil complexity into clear recommendations
- The ability to build trust, navigate across functions and priorities, and secure progress and commitment from internal stakeholders
- Solid communication skills, an eye for detail and a willingness to go the extra mile to get things right
- Fluency in English
- Experience with AI tools or advanced analytics applied to market or patient insights is an advantage

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 650,960.00 to 956,860.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
