The Position
As an Executive Assistant (EA) to Novo Nordisk Denmark/Iceland, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic support to the General Manager, Management Team and the Organisation. In this role, you will serve as a sparring partner and executive assistant, working closely with the General Manager and Management Team to ensure clear strategic direction, follow-though on our commitments and measuring success. You will be a member of the NNDK Management Team and report to the General Manager.
Your other responsibilities will include to:

Proactively prepare and coordinate decision materials, presentations, and analyses for all meetings (internal and external) on behalf of the General manager and Management Team.

Act as a strategic partner by driving NNDK strategic projects and improvement initiatives, representing the GM in cross-functional teams and other project teams.

Support NNDK Management Team with project management, governance, decision making and business transformation activities.

Ensure high-quality agendas and drive MT meetings to ensure alignment across the organisation.

Engage with stakeholders across the organization to get an understanding of processes, challenges, opportunities and needs.
Qualifications
You are our ideal candidate if you possess the ability to provide strategic advice to senior leadership, present both sides of complex issues while maintaining objectivity, continuously innovate and improve across organizational and cultural barriers, work independently, and make decisions while anticipating organizational needs from idea to execution. The ability to expand the internal network, act as a change agent and present organizational needs convincingly.
As a person, you have a high level of integrity, are open-minded and curious, and a strong team player.
Moreover, you are expected to meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
-
International assignments or experience, preferably from working within different levels of a global organization (global, regional, or affiliate offices)

Comprehensive understanding of value chain, markets, and competition in the pharmaceutical industry

Excellent process and project management skills, including the ability to manage a significant volume of projects while exercising good triage and judgement skills

Demonstrating the highest degree of business and political acumen with the ability to simplify complexity
-
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
