Are you ready to shape the future of Total Rewards for a global healthcare leader? In this senior leadership role, you will drive competitive and sustainable reward strategies across multiple geographies, directly influencing how Novo Nordisk attracts, retains and engages talent worldwide.
Your new role
As Global Total Rewards Director, you will set strategic direction and lead the execution of comprehensive Total Rewards solutions aligned with Novo Nordisk’s overall rewards philosophy and business priorities. You will combine strategic insight, data-driven decision-making and strong stakeholder collaboration to enable organizational growth and employee engagement on a scale.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading a global team of 11 Total Rewards professionals supporting Europe (excluding HQ), Canada and Emerging Markets
- Using internal and external market data to design competitive, compliant and scalable reward solutions aligned with business strategy
- Applying a strategic, enterprise-wide perspective to resolve complex challenges and implement best practices across compensation and benefits
- Partnering with senior leaders, HRBPs and Total Rewards HQ teams to ensure alignment, effective local adoption and change management
- Developing team capability through knowledge sharing, coaching and a strong focus on continuous improvement

Within P&O&CA, you will be part of Global Total Rewards Partnering, embedded in the Global People, Leadership and Performance Centre of Excellence. The team enables Novo Nordisk to attract, retain and reward talent through sustainable, competitive, flexible and compliant reward practices. We are a highly engaged, globally distributed team working closely with Total Rewards HQ and business stakeholders.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring strong leadership capability, deep Total Rewards expertise and the ability to influence in a complex, international environment.
You will have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field
- 7+ years of people leadership experience, ideally in a multi-functional or global context
- 5+ years of Total Rewards experience with strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, policies and governance such as
implementing/designing broad-based compensation programs (both fixed and variable pay) such as ad-hoc retention programs, short term incentive programs, experience with sales incentive pay, developing salary pay ranges, leading pay transparency initiatives and more
- Proven success leading high-performing, engaged teams while supporting individual development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights in English

What we offer
Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 940,800.00 to 1,448,700.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
