Your new role

As a Clinical Medical Manager (CMM) in Global Trial Portfolio (GTP), you'll be the scientific driving force at country and site level. Working in close partnership with Clinical Operations and the Medical & Translation Science team, you'll ensure scientific site readiness, generate actionable insights, and connect product development with high-quality trial delivery across EUCAN.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Securing early scientific enablement for trial delivery by supporting PI/National Leader engagement, investigator readiness and recruitment/retention at country and site level
• Leading National Leader selection, contributing to site selection and prioritisation, and assessing scientific training needs across sites
• Acting as local subject matter expert on product and protocol – discussing early clinical data with external experts during feasibility and resolving medical queries from site staff during trials
• Gathering, analysing and implementing actionable scientific insights throughout the trial lifecycle, incorporating the voice of patients and clinicians to improve outcomes
• Co-designing and deploying scientific knowledge building for Clinical Operations teammates on therapy area, product and protocol
• Owning the scientific agenda within our Strategic Alliance with Partner Sites, from early pipeline engagement to workshops and investigator development opportunities
• Continuously monitoring trial performance with Therapy Area Leads and Trial Managers, taking proactive measures to address scientific issues

Your geographic responsibility will cover CDC-DK, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, with Ireland and Finland included to a lesser extent.

Within R&D, you'll join the Clinical Medical Management (CMM) team in GTP – the country-embedded scientific leaders who bridge protocol design and site execution. Working hand-in-hand with Clinical Operations and Medical & Translation Science colleagues, we make sure our trials are scientifically robust, patient-centred and delivered with excellence across EUCAN.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a scientifically curious, collaborative professional who thrives at the intersection of medicine, science and operational delivery. You'll bring with you:

• An MD, PhD, MSc, MPharm or equivalent qualification in healthcare, with a strong background in clinical practice or research
• 3+ years' experience in clinical or medical roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of drug development and the pharmaceutical value chain
• Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements and clinical trial methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external partners including PIs, KOLs, HCPs and health authorities
• An enterprise mindset with strong business acumen – prioritising organisational success, promoting cross-functional collaboration and understanding financial drivers and market dynamics
• A creative problem-solver who identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, embraces change, and is willing to leverage AI tools and data-driven approaches in daily work

• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is considered a nice to have

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 716,040.00 to 1,052,540.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
