Your new role    

As a Business Finance Manager, your responsibility will be to act as a Finance Partner towards key sales affiliates in region Europe & Canada. In addition, you will be responsible for analysing cross-European trade patterns to build a forward-looking view on trade development. You will have high exposure to senior leaders across the region, and will work together with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain to support business performance. 

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Act as a Finance Partner towards countries within responsibility, ensuring sound financial management (top-line and commercial investment focus), creating value-adding insights to impact strategic decision making.
  • Drive financial processes across region Europe & Canada together with the rest of the finance team, collaborating on top-line & investment forecasting/budgeting and performance tracking.
  • Analyse European trade patterns, create business insights and develop a forward-looking view on trade patterns in close collaboration with affiliates across Europe.

 

The role will be based in Ørestad, Denmark and will report directly to the Head of Business Finance.

The Business Finance team, located in Ørestad, Denmark, is an integral part of the regional office in region Europe & Canada. This dynamic team is essential for maintaining the organization's financial health, driving business decisions aligned with strategic goals. Comprising an international and diverse group of dedicated professionals, the department thrives on high energy, collaboration, and trust. While the team is ambitious in its pursuits, the atmosphere remains informal, fostering a fun and positive environment throughout the department.


Your skills & qualifications

As a Business Finance Manager, you need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in finance partnering and hold a relevant master's degree (e.g. in finance or economics). Moreover, you need to be a team player while being independent, self-driven and proactive.

 

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

  • A positive mindset, ready to always tackle new challenges.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to drive decision-making with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills & financial toolbox.
  • The ability to present complex financial matters in a simple way.

 

In addition, you are proficient in written and spoken English.
