Your new role
In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning and execution of brand launches across regions and functions, ensuring seamless integration with global strategies and efficient use of resources. You will own the Launch Activity Process (LAP), drive collaboration across commercial, brand, medical, pricing and other key teams. You will drive forward the commercial launch processes, systems, capabilities and ways-of-working to drive launch excellence in IO.
In this role, you will:

Oversee cross-functional and cross-regional planning for brand and indication launches.

Streamline and manage the Launch Activity Process (LAP) to ensure efficiency and regional empowerment.

Plan and coordinate ongoing and upcoming LAPs aligned with global brand and marketing strategies.

Manage launch fund sizing, allocation, and monitor affiliate utilization.

Collaborate with commercial, brand, and medical teams to define launch performance frameworks.

Identify and resolve process bottlenecks to optimise resource use and execution timelines.

Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure timely delivery of launch milestones and objectives.

As a key driver of Novo Nordisk’s future growth, International Operations (IO) is the largest operational unit in Novo Nordisk and covers more than 190 countries and 95% of the world’s population. Around 430 million people are living with diabetes in these countries and an estimated 570 million live with obesity. We serve 25 million people each day living with chronic diseases. Novo Nordisk International Operations, Strategic Operations, is head quartered in Zürich, Switzerland.
You will be part of the Commercial Portfolio and Launch Management team, a strategic and dynamic function within International Operations Marketing, Medical and Regulatory department. It’s responsible for launch excellence, future asset integration, cross-portfolio strategy, and message testing.
You will report to the Head of Commercial Portfolio and Launch Management.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a seasoned commercial professional with a strong background in project or product management and a proven ability to lead successful product launches. The ideal candidate combines strategic market insight with hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams and orchestrate pre and post launch activities.
What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.

8-10 years of experience in commercial strategy, marketing, or product management.

Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and cross-functional team collaboration (launch experience is an advantage).

Experience across the value chain in a pharmaceutical company.

Multi-geography experience is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
