The position
As Associate Strategic Partnerships Director, you will identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships and business development opportunities aligned with Novo Nordisk's strategic priorities. You will engage with healthcare providers and other industry stakeholders to develop new collaborations and ecosystems that can improve patient outcomes while supporting sustainable business growth.
A key part of your role will be exploring what comes next. You will identify changes in the healthcare environment, assess emerging opportunities and help translate them into new partnerships, patient solutions and commercial approaches.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships and business development opportunities.
- Act as Key Account for strategic partners and manage the relationship from initial dialogues to implementation.
- Exploring future business opportunities together with internal and external stakeholders and building new ecosystems that support our business vision.
- Developing and driving projects and collaborations that support our overall strategy and priorities.
- Monitoring and evaluating partnership performance and translating insights into recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Supporting innovation of our commercial model in response to a changing healthcare and business environment.
- Collaborating closely with Commercial, Sales, MAPA and Medical teams to leverage partnerships and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Preparing recommendations, reports and presentations for Leadership Teams on partnership activities, impact and outcomes.
Your new department
You will be part of the Medical & Marketing team in Business Area West, which covers 11 European markets across 9 affiliates.
Internally, you will collaborate with colleagues across BA West affiliates, Commercial, Sales, MAPA, Medical and Leadership Teams, setting the strategic direction and supporting the implementation regionally and locally
Externally, your stakeholder landscape will depend on the opportunities you pursue and may include, eHealth providers, private hospitals, private insurance companies and other relevant healthcare and industry partners.
You will therefore need to be comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, creating connections and bringing different perspectives together around shared opportunities.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines strong business development capabilities with strategic thinking, curiosity and a genuine interest in exploring new ways of creating value for patients.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- A Master's degree, preferably within business management, life sciences or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within strategic partnerships or business development related roles in the private healthcare industry.
- Solid business development and key account management experience and a proven track record of developing, negotiating and managing strategic partnerships and alliances.
- A strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and the trends and challenges shaping the industry. Experience and knowledge on digital / e-health landscape will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- The ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders across different levels and organizations.
You are explorative, entrepreneurial and patient centric. You are energized by opportunities that may not yet have an established blueprint and are comfortable exploring new and unproven business models. You combine curiosity with commercial judgement and can move from identifying an opportunity to bringing the right stakeholders together and setting a concrete initiative in motion.
Your strong interpersonal, influencing and networking skills enable you to build trusted relationships across organizational boundaries and with key accounts. At the same time, you maintain a clear focus on creating solutions that generate meaningful value for patients and contribute to sustainable business development.

- Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,010.00 y 1,245,110.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience. - Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
