Your new role
As Associate Director for Consumer Engagement Legal, Ethics & Compliance, you will act as a strategic LEC Business Partner to IO FAST NovoCare & Consumer Solutions, Consumer Engagement Strategy & Insights and the IO FAST Partner Integration & Assets areas.

You will design innovative frameworks that enable bold, compliant consumer engagement while safeguarding the organisation and the people we serve.

Day-to-day, your tasks will include:

  • Providing proactive expert legal, ethics and compliance advice and strategic counsel to IO FAST NovoCare & Consumer Solutions, Consumer Engagement Strategy & Insights and the Partner Integration & Assets areas.
  • Building innovative LEC frameworks and assessments that enable bold consumer engagement initiatives while ensuring proactive risk management.
  • Guiding from an LEC perspective the development of disease awareness, patient support programmes and consumer campaigns – including on social media and digital channels.  
  • Participating in cross-functional Working Groups and partnering with Regions and Affiliate LEC teams to ensure implementation of these activities.
  • Drafting, reviewing and approving contracts, agreements, risk assessments and other legal documents.
  • Co-driving innovation and improvement in our LEC reviews workflows and processes, including by leveraging AI enabled services and solutions.
  • Acting as an active member of the IO LEC Team and broader LEC community.

Reporting to the AVP IO Legal, Ethics & Compliance, you will join our ambitious team of 10 highly dedicated LEC colleagues split between Zurich (5) and Copenhagen (5). You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we engage with consumers and patients through digital platforms, campaigns and innovative service offerings such as NovoCare.

 

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a bold and business-minded legal professional who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build new frameworks in the fast-evolving consumerization space. To succeed in this role, you'll bring with you:

  • An advanced degree in Law (LLM or equivalent) and license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in legal, ethics and compliance, including at least 4 years in the FMCG sector or Consumer Health Engagement & Technologies; additional pharma or healthcare experience is welcome but not mandatory
  • Deep expertise in digital law, social media, AI legal and compliance, alongside strong command of contracting, risk assessment and mitigation
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage strategically important legal and compliance issues within a global matrix environment, including experience supporting sales operations
  • A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with high learning agility, courage to embark in new territories, and the ability to manage and bring simplicity to complex, multi-faceted projects
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, an ethical compass, and a passion for leveraging AI and data-driven insights to modernise legal ways of working

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 931,700.00 to 1,369,700.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. For Switzerland, local ranges apply.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
