We're seeking for a dynamic individual to lead our internal and external communication efforts related to our strategy and priorities as we navigate exciting growth opportunities! 

 

The position 

 In this exiting newly established position, you will be tasked with developing and executing communication strategies aligned with affiliate and organizational objectives. You will ensure coherence and consistency across affiliates to shape the organization's public image and maintain messaging across all channels. 

Furthermore,  

  • Communication Strategy Development and Implementation: Responsible for creating and executing communication strategies that support organizational goals, ensuring alignment with affiliate-wide strategies. 

  • Governance of Communication Roles: Establishing and manage clear governance structures for all communication roles to maintain consistency, effectiveness, and adherence to communication strategies. 

  • Stakeholder-specific Messaging: Tailoring communication strategies to different stakeholders, providing relevant information aligned with specified goals. 

  • Execution of Communication Activities: Driving communication activities according to the established plan, overseeing content across various channels and providing guidance on platform selection. 

  • Measurement and Adjustment of Strategies: Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of communication strategies, making adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and values. 

 

Qualifications 

You have decided to apply for this amazing opportunity because you already have several years of experience in strategic communications preferably from the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and you pride yourself on your impressive project management skills while working across cross-functional teams. 

Furthermore,  

  • You have a university degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or any other related field 

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate communication initiatives across cross-functional teams. 

  • Strategic thinking 

  • Excellent skills in turn complex concepts into clear, simple and structured messages and plans 

  • Strong understanding of business operations and ability to integrate business strategy into communication strategy. 

  • Strong understanding of crisis communication, and reputation management. 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and as project management lead. 

  • You are fluent written and oral in German and English, preferably French as well.

Novo Nordisk Pharma AG is the Swiss Affiliate, with over 90 employees, dedicated to making a remarkable difference to patients across the country. Located at the Circle, Zurich Airport. The Swiss Affiliate belongs to Region North West Europe, which is part of IO (International Operations). 

The Market Access and Public Affairs & Communications department is dedicated to ensuring access to our life-changing products and shaping policies that benefit patients and society. As a Senior Strategic Communications Manager, you will work closely with the management team to drive effective communication initiatives and promote a positive organizational image.
